Overview

Servo/spindle drives made by Mitsubishi, they seem to be meant to work only with their NC controller via a daisy chained serial interface.

Model Numbers

Page 25 (marked as I-7 in the PDF) of the "BNP-B3759B" (Specifications Manual) lists the servo drive model numbers.

Wiring Diagram

  • Page 206 (marked as III-87 in the PDF) of the "BNP-B3759B" (Specifications Manual) shows the MDS-A/B-V1 connector names/layout.
  • Page 39 (marked as I-21 in the PDF) has the encoder ("detector") cable pinouts and other specifications
